I am trying to install a new hack onto a board already using a hack. Of course I want to keep both hacks, and I am told that using beyond compare can do that. What exactly am I supposed to do in it. I've set it to compare two folders, and it sees wut files are mismatched....but then what do I do?

If your just installing another hack go ahead and do it. If your upgrading UBB versions use Beyond Compare.

Beyond Compare is not that helpful for installing hacks. You'll want to use a text editor for that.
Beyond Compare is more useful as a tool to upgrade a hacked board.

I guess I do my upgrades a little differently. I'll have two folders, one with the current version and one with the new version. Both of these folders contain unhacked virgin UBB files. I compare them to see what has changed and then I apply the differences to my hacked files (in a third folder). I prefer to know exactly what has changed. I only FTP down (or pull out of backup) the files that have changed then when I upload them I can run the upgrade in seconds.

That's how I do it as well x, unless for some reason I decide to start over

XPerT, that's what I do, if something that should be updated isn't. But if everything looks fine, I don't.

Ok well thanks. But I have the latest version of my files in the folder that multi hack uses to apply the hack...but when I upload the file, my current hacks are gone, and the one I was applying...DOESN'T work...hehe this kinda sux.

I compare the hacked files to the new files. Then I just transfer changes in the hacked files and upload the files that have no hacking in them.

Please make your signature max 150x50, it's currently 450x60

Ok, Well i am still confused. O well. And ya, is there code to resize it? or do I have to re-make it?

Most image editors can resize a graphic. There is no way to resize an image with UBB.
