I have looked for a spell check for ubb v6.05 and the one i found the link was broken.and seems to have too many problems .

Does anyone have a spell check hack that will work on my ubb that they can give. Please help I have too many people asking for this hack on my ubb and I have desided to install it.... But i need 1 that works.

That was the only spell check hack for 6.x but there is one for 6.1 which I'm sure will work on 6.x

I'm sure it will work. But don't try the 6.3 one.

alright i am working on... i got the 6.1 version and the files from spellcheck.net so i will let know my proccess later tomarrow

Well I installed it, The only problem i get right now is on the main forum page java script error.. in the status bar the yellow icon. and when in reply or new topic or even edit i click the spellcheck button and does nothing.. what could have gone wrong.. i installed those files like the js. and the sproxy.cgi and ini...

For the 6.1 version you need to paste in your reply in the pop up window and it will check. It aint auto.

The problem is no pop up at all the spell check button does nothing....

I don't know why you got it, but anyhow that service costs money, and it will expire after 14 days or so.

Oh, I thought it will make you stop trying to install it tipsy

You can try to port my hack for 6.2/6.3 to 6.0.

What is different about it? Does it still use spellchecker.net or is it self like 6.3 seems but i haven really looked at the 6.3 verson so i dont know what it uses. But I will try.... I will have tolook over the install for a bit.

6.3's version also uses spellcheck.net, but it's free. laugh

is the cp_modaddon needed ? or is there a verson for 6.05 because addin that to mine is nuts... I got an error in cp_modaddon.cgi line 77. and I am not sure what to replace hash or what ever it is to.
