This is what we have
[code][/code]hotlink2.gif is a small avatar which advertises our site if someone hotlinks to it.
Funny thing is, if someone who visits our forums often does it then they'll most likely see their cached copy of the image they are linking to. But everyone else sees it as the ad
Hence they don't know they're advertising our site until someone mentions it, or clears their cache and visits the other site first.
Needs mod_rewrite installed on the server though.
Graemlins you could just get the htaccess to send them off down a black hole.. e.g. to
http://non.existant.domain/image.gif, which will give them the red cross syndrome (in IE at least)
