Just wondering how many MB my server must have to run the UBB, please help. Do you know of any good servers out there that support the UBB that are free?

a blank UBB is 2.6mb at the moment but thats with images that you may not need. My UBB is currently at 220mb but thats due to 920 members and 20,000 posts. www.f2s.com gives 20mb of webspace and supports Perl and other things without ads on the pages.

Not really I have a dedicated server and it has a 18GB and 6GB HD so it's not really that bad. I'm sure ubbdev takes up lots more than that.

if you're just starting out, i suggest you download a copy of WS_FTP LITE. As this has the capability to change file persmissinons on a UNIX server. I also suggest using UNIX for the UBB since you can change file permissions remotely. NT will require you to notify the host and have them change the permissions (Unless of course you are hosting your own stuff).
