What kind of code are you trying to add? in a regular html page, does it normally go between the tags or below them? The first type goes into the headerinsert box, the second type goes into the header box, very different.

Actually, that's just HTML code that has been inserted in the "header" parts of UBB. The code you see is not part of UBB at all (unless I'm mistaken), but rather JS (JavaScript) code. You design and build items like this in HTML programs (i.e. Dreamweave, Fireworks, etc.) It requires you have a very good knowledge of HTML.

If you are trying to do something like this site, part of it goes in the header in your styles templates, the rest goes in your headerinsert. So, both. I couldn't help more without a little more info from you. Like Allen says, it depends on what you are trying to do.

ok now my header table so done basically its a table with a bg image...

now the problem is the js files whcih were supposed to get called from my js dir.
now i have rightly inserted the code in the header insert box...

the path of the js files are also right
for example "wwwroot/jsfiles/xyz.js"

so if u can tell me y isnt the files being called?

thanks

it's a init function that needs to be called to initialise the menu system like how it's done on this site.

where do we insert that?
