Just tried upgrading from V6 beta 8.4 to V6 .03 final. Can access cp links and change all setings but get "500 internal server error" when tried to access ultimatebb.cgi. All permissions are set properly but gawd knows whats the problem... Please help!

First, since you are upgrading, you should use the latest version (6.04b)
then double check the CHMOD of your files and make sure you installed the files in a directory were running CGI is allowed (generaly cgi-bin) also make sure that it is also CHMOD 755
Check ALL the files were uploaded, since a 500 error can be caused by a missing required file.
Double check you uploaded ALL the templates in ASCII.

Hey chuck! Thanks man. Ill try upgrading to the latest version tmr and see whats the result. But i tried to upgrade 6 times from V6 8.4b to V6 .03F. till then the 6.04b wasnt out. but man can u tell me whats wrong with that version and why isnt it upgrading? and regarding the permission settings and CHMOD, Ive set it perfectly as i have installed and upgraded this more than 10 times. so im preety used to it. I cant make a mistake on that. Even my colleauge tried to do it twice. but couldnt help. Hoping to upgrade sucessfully to 6.04b. Thanks.

 the latest versions were supposed to fix some errors with upgrading... make sure you have uploaded all files except for the member files when upgrading from a beta version, you most likely aren't uploading them all... and make sure the .pm files are uploaded in ascii too.
