Hi. I recently upgraded to 6.04e from 5.47d and when I try to Rebuild Search Index from the Maintence box at control panel,I get this message "Hack attempt logged: attempting to open topic file that is not in proper format"
All the cgi files are with 666 permissions enabled.

hmm.. try uploading your new files (except the variables) again and make sure all .cgi, .pl, and .pm files are uploaded in ascii... set permissions on all those files to 777.

cgi files wouldnt be in 755 permission ?
