i have 6.04e and have tons of hacks.. i just got the upgrade file and it tells me to replace my files.. so i did and all my hacks got messed up (obviously) how do i upgrade without skrewin up my board?

whats beyond compare?? any help? i'll just change the E to F.. theres only minor upgrades and you never notive the difference in the board cept for the version... how does UBBDev upgrades their UBB?

dont upgrade to 6.04f its buggy...wait for 6.1.0
beyond compare will compare files and tell you what is different between them, you would still have to sort through which changes were due to hacks and which due to upgrades though i think. not sure maybe it can show you new code present in the new files and not present in the old files...

how do i use beyond compare?? i still dont know how to upgrade! how does UBBDev do it?

we use beyond compare  for instructions on how to use it, check their website at the link above.
