I always get Software a error right after I finish the first step (entering my paths after installation). I am 100% positive I upload everything in ASCII (even a few images I think O_o) and I believe I CHMODed right...I've tried 3 times now with no success. This is version 6.0 which I had to reinstall when someone went a-wall and deleted my files...grrrr. Anyway, here is the message I get:

Joshy, you may have to contact your web hosting company to make sure that you've been given permissions for .cgi (something like that). E-mail your tech people (of your host) and ask them.

Also, I'm pretty sure that all graphics should be uploaded as BINARY files -- but I'm not 100% positive on this.

all .gif and .jpg have to be uploaded in binary.
