In my install directions for UBB 6.05 it says this:

*Special note for mod_perl: You must open cp.cgi and ultimatebb.cgi in a text editor and uncomment (remove the # from the front of the line) lines 24 and 28.*

Can anyone tell me what that means? Thx

It means, if your server has mod_perl installed, you can get UBB to run on it by removing the # from the front of the line in cp.cgi and ultimatebb.cgi. I believe you'd get better performance with the improved coding of 6.1...
