tonight i decided to upgrade to 6.1 beta 1.4 from 6.04. I followed all the directions correctly, ascii everything, chmodded correctly and im getting a 500 error. What the hell did I do wrong? please help me asap, for this is driving me nuts! thanks in advance! mike aim: nystreetracing email: [email protected]

well i have no idea how i did this but i somehow got into my cp, but im now getting this error... what do i do now? and is this better or worse than the 500 error? please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ouch no...  You most likely have added extra profile fields in your 6.05 version. Go into ubb_lib_files and find: my $maxmemfields = 31; #total fields permitted in member file Change that to whatever # profile fields ou actually have. If you've added the calendar modification it will be 55.

I did it just this past week.. took me an hour to figure out I forgot to bump the profile fields for the new install
