UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 7 Development How Do I? Javascript works on 5.45 not on 6.1?!?

Ok I took the exact menu that I had for my 5.45c board and put it in 6.1.0, I always redid it all and started with known code that works and still runs into an error with it. I put it first in the head insert in control panel, then public_common.pl and even tried the html insert in control panel as well. I get an object required error. This is not an easy problem to solve obviously since I don't write javascript, and don't understand it enough to change it around. You know whats real funny, if i don't end the script with half of it works(because it wasn't ended), but I get no errors, only if i end the script....I am sure its not the script, I think its having a conflict with another script, maybe a function or an object crossing over with the same name or something of that sort....

My questions are as follows:

What new javascript has been added to a standard install of 6.1?

Can anyone take a look at the script and see if there is a problem if there was something new added?

hmmmm... this is not an ubb problem... you are missing something

& I dont see a menu or error in your test board? because of this i cant say anything...

if you check out the test board, it comes up with an error i think line 50 character 11 "undefined".

well, well. I got around this cause it was pissing me off... I just grabbed version 3.0 of his script instead of 3.2 and it works, maybe he has an error on the actually menu file...
