Hi everyone,
Is there a way to turn off the link that appears at the top of the forum listing in UBB Classic that lets people look at the active topics of the day? Can't seem to find an option to do this in the control panel...
Thanks!

No there really isn't any easy way, besides removing the link code in public_forum_summary.pl.

Oh hmm...how hard is that to do? :-) I'm not really afraid of going in and modding code if I have to. Ideally I just want to set up a "temporary" forum that can only be viewed when it is specifically linked to through its url, and nowwhere visible through the active topics list. Searching probably doesn't matter because it won't likely have many posts as I just want to set it up as a "demo" forum for proposing new forum topic ideas to the "higher ups"...but not to the general public user. Thanks

Here's the code: Open public_forum_summary.pl and find.. » <a href="$ULTIMATEBB?ubb=get_daily">$vars_wordlets{active_topics}</a> « Remove it.
