Hello, I am trying to use UBB as a news script which displays the news and accepts comments to be posted on the topic. Now, I tried the UBBNews thing without success - I messed up my CP and had to get it back to default (maybe I did something wrong  ). Anyways, I'm running UBB.classic 6.3.1.1. Can anyone help? Thanks!

500 Internal Server Errors. I chmoded everything correctly though.

I can only see the errors via CPanel, this is what it said: [2002-10-19 20:53:10]: error: file is writable by others Doesn't help much.

You should have backups when you hack, so you can easily overwrite if there is a problem. You probably hacked it wrong.

You can set ubbnews up manually and not modify any ubb files in the process, I've posted how in the ubbnews thread a couple of times
