Im using the calendar hack, and there is a command included for ssi. I got it to work after a fashion. But along with everything else, I also get cookie info displayed. http://www.thedarkwatch.com/index.shtml

www.lkworld.com/ubb_calendar_ssi.txt - that's Calendar 6.4.0's SSI file. Then instead of ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=calendar_ssi, use ubb_calendar_ssi.cgi?s=1. Also, you can use it in JavaScript: ubb_calendar_ssi.cgi?s=1;j=1.
