Running UBB Classic 6.3.1
1) In the following code from the Ultimatebb.cgi, from what I have read, the "-2y" is the expiration date on the particular cookie. What part of this date tells the cookie when to expire? Does the "-2y" mean in two years? What date would go in here to have the cookies not expire?
# perform user logoff?
if ($ubb eq 'logoff') {
$skip_cookie_check = 'true';
my $cookieA = cookie(
-name => "ubber$vars_config{Cookie_Number}",
-value => ['', ''],
-path => '/',
-expires => '-2y'
);
my $cookieB = cookie(
-name => "session$vars_config{Cookie_Number}",
-value => ['', ''],
-path => '/',
-expires => '-2y'
);
my $cookieC = cookie(
-name => "forumpw$vars_config{Cookie_Number}",
-value => ['', ''],
-path => '/',
-expires => '-2y'
);
2) I recently moved the board to another server. When refreshing a page, it requires the information to be resent (On Winx OS). Does the move have something to do with this such as a different cookie ID number and if so, how do I reset this?
Thanks and great forum... lot's of info and helpful people!!!
