I'm planning on making the public names within topics glow on my board. I was wondering, how I can define the difference between admins/mods/regular members, so that I can assign each person a different glow text color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Check out $user_profile[8] - It will contain either "Administrator", "Moderator" or "Member". smile

Where do I go to search for that? I'm new to this.

You can refer to it anywhere you like inside public_topic_page.pl, which is the "Topic Page" Template file. smile

Thanx so far. When you siad "It will contain" I thought you ment it was file somewhere.

So far adding $user_profile[8] does display what type of member someone is. Do I put like $user_profile[8]="administrator"

Or something like that, so that I can then define that an administrator gets such and such color for their display name? This is all so confusing.

It'd be something more like:

And insert $somevar into your templates...
But I've probably not been very helpful there...
