Is it possible to incorporate the Instant Graemlins with the Quick Reply 6.4 MOD?

I've done it with bits of the Smilie Mod 6.3 by DPK. I did not install the full mod because I was satisfied with the default smilie settings for UBB. I just took the codes I wanted to use. To extend the amount of smilies UBB would allow I bumped the limit to 250 in cp_graemlins.cgi; I'm currently using 101 smilies.
The Smilie mod allowed me to add a popup window (smilie legend) on the public_topic_page.pl where users can select their smilies in the Quick Reply. I haven't been able to do this without parts of the Smilie Mod.
