Sorry to ask but I feel like we are being ignored...
Is it because of the new 6.4 hacks being made?
I know I should upgade but I love what I have on my board right now...
Thanks!

Im still a 6.3er, the 6.3 ppl aren't being ignored, its just that more people are probably using 6.4 right now, so thats what the mod's are being written for.
I can't afford a good signature editor

The short amount of time (compared to 6.3) between 6.4 and 6.5 is interesting. I would've thought there would have been a 6.4.1 before 6.5... quote: Yeah...And then the 6.4 users will be ignored. LOL.
Already started to happen. Notice that the 6.4 forum has gone quiet

gone quiet in 3 days? You think maybe it was because it was the weekend? We support all we do have human resources for... it was much easier when it was only the 5 series... everyone used the 5 series... now that we've had the 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 and the coming 6.5... well, unless you really want to pay for someone's time, it's nearly impossible to stretch staff to cover years and years of software changes. It's the internet... you have to either keep up or get left behind in regards to most anything in software. We started the ubb 'hacking' community around the time of 5.39. I think you'd be more ticked off if we devoted our time to it still

It's just waaayy difficult for a site staffed with volunteers to cover years of software development... either we embrace change and keep moving or we stagnate and die of boredom

templates change gradually.... 6.6 is introducing a new method for headers that will make things like 'compact headers' so much easier... check the bottom of public_common if you haven't already

Cool. I'll check it out. I've never used Compact Headers actually although I hear it's a useful hack. Ahh well...
