ok, the webmaster of my site wants to disable the sig limits, but does not know how. Can anyone help?
NOTE: Running 6.4, and if it's a dumb question, it's not mine so don't kill the messenger

The signature character limit is 2,500 characters. That's TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED... there's no possible sig in the world that will get that large.

But I understand what he means. Some people go overboard and have like 30 lines of sig, and use their sig in every post they make. It get's kinda repetitive after awhile.
However, Weird Al, I'm running 6.5 Beta on my UBB, and it includes a signature limit option that's controlled via the CP.
A nice addition if I may say so myself;)

Ah, but he wants to *DISABLE* the limit, not add one. Even then, the 6.5 adjustable limit still maxes out at 2500...

Hey DarkFormula...There is a hack that allows only one user's signature per thread which means if the user posts 3 times his/her sig will only show once in the first post. An alternative would be BassTeq's Signature Limit hack. You can find it here
