I am trying to use the ubb as a back end for user authentication.
In otherwords they must be registered and signed in to view certain parts. The main being the galery.
I added the following code to ultimatebb.cgi to allow ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=gallery
[code][/code]It works fine, to view the gallery you need to be singed in, and if you are not it asks you to sign in.
However it outputs "Content-type: text/html" on the resulting page, knocking the site design off qiute alot.
I assume it has somthing to do with $warnhandler in ultimatebb.cgi.
I am no CGI expert and have no idea how to bypass/iliminate this problem.
If anyone could help me It would make my day.

Imagefolio is probably printing that header directly - you'll want to check its code. Warnhandler is disabled in all production releases....

Unless you are just wanting to learn perl, you might wait a bit on this... Dirk is working on a ubb.classic integration for imagefolio  More when there's something to post about it

ive tried other cgi apps thru the same process and each has the same output at the very top of the page before the calls app outputs anything. I am certain it is created by the ubb. Although this integration for imagefolio will no doubt be alot better then my botch job, Ill carry on and try to figure it out for myself untill its release. Ill keep u posted Thanx guys
