Im running 6.3.1.2, and I added "Custom Title/Rank v1.1 Public Beta for 6.1" Which works perfectly. But it dont show the titles on admins and mods. Only that theyr either admin or mod. I want them to show a title according to theyr post count too. Is this impossible ? or ?

If anyone could tell me how to do this or provide me with the name on the files I would need to edit. Or those you think this information is in.

Thanks

It's possible but try this...Much easier. The code is a bit odd but it works. tipsy

Open public_topic_page.pl and find:

Code
[/code]After it add:

Code
</pre></div></div>Then where it says:<br><br> <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Code</div><div class="ubbcode-body ubbcode-pre" ><pre>
add below

[code]
Now in your Control Panel in "Maintenance" go to "Manage Custom Titles/Ranks" and set the titles according to their post count in the column "Set/Update Custom Rank Database". Something like that. laugh

I forgot to add...Now the code provided above will show the "Administrators" and "Moderators" their status in the topic pages while allowing them and other members to have titles based on post count.

Now say if you want to change the display "Administrators" and/or "Moderators" to something different or add html to it...For every edit you'll have to open up "public_topic_page.pl" which can be a hassle. If you want I can try to add "Vars_Wordlets" so you can just go into your CP and edit from there. Let me know. smile

hmm, the problem aint about showing if theyr admins or mods. As that works. And with that "addon" I installed, is adding another line that you cam write what you want on in cp. Which I use for the admins/mods and add theyr "status" there.

The problem I got is. That admins or mods. Wont get an name according to theyr post count. So now they got an "admin" name twice. If you understands what I mean. I want to do as we could in Ubb. 6.2 just to "blank" out the original admin/mod name fields such as it gives an name according to your post count.

This is what Im trying to do.
Im sorry for explaining it so porly at my first post.

Ah, nm this at all. That I can be this stupid smile
Was reading the txt file and understood it like I had to blank out the admin/mod field. But I tried adding all the stuff for the other members today. And it worked for admin/mods too.

Thanks alot for replying though.
