Hi, I recently upgraded from UBBClassic v6.3.0 to UBBThreads v6.2. Nothing was imported it was a fresh install. My problem is that I have several forums that I want to import. Is this possible? Sorry If this is the wrong place to ask Regards, Matt

Unfortunately, the stock importer can only import to a fresh, clean Threads install... i.e. before you create the new admin user. If you dropped all the tables and ran createtables again, you could run the import safely.
This isn't QUITE the right place to ask, but it's as good as any, as I've been the one keeping the importer up to date. %)

Your best bet would be to pay a programmer to work up an importer, I'd offer but the last copy of threads that I had was like 6.0.1 so I don't exactly know how much help I'd be.

Do you mean importing several different forums like from other sites?

Is there a version that will import Classic 6.6.1 to Threads 6.5? I have an older version but it doesn't work (File not found: main.inc.php).

If you own a valid license for UBB.threads, I'm pretty sure Infopop will provide you a temporary 6.7.2 installation. You'd then upgrade, and use 6.7.2 to export, and 6.5 to import said export

Thanks Ian. We do have a valid license for threads. I'll contact Infopop and see if they'll do that.

It's still possible to import using the old importer.

true, but you'll need 6.7.2 to export.

The official way is to get us to hand ya 6.7.2, so you can upgrade. The old importer is no longer officially supported.
