I'm wanting to write a hack that doesnt increment members post counts in certain forums.
Although I cant find which file contains the code that increments the post count for new topics and replies, any ideas?

While it's ported for 6.4 it should work on 6.3+ versions...I think.

Works a treat, what Im thinking about doing though is modifing is so that it takes in a delimited list of forums, as opposed to seperate input boxes, then read that list into an array, and loop though all array elements looking for a match to the current forum number. Thats what i'd done in the version 5 series hack I wrote, so it allowed for an unlimited list of forums, always the hack you wrote works well, thanks for the info!

Sounds cool BassTeQ. I made an error on the 3rd forum revision (I'm not sure if you used it) and made the adjustments and provided the fix for it in a text link. I'll look forward to your version.

Just to clarify I did not write the original code as I believe Sub Zero did and Clan Killer added the CP intergration. I just added the 3rd forum and possibly will add more if wanted.

The original code was written from what Perl knowledge I have (very little) and ClanKiller did add CP and wordlet support. I wrote it because a forum I used to frequent had a forum that they didn't want posts to count in.

I've moved on to integrating a PHP based site with a UBB. It's a fun and challenging project

I wasn't sure about credits so I just listed everyone who were in the original text plus BassTeQ for his revision. It looks like two different codes but I could be wrong.

I did change quite a bit of code, but just leave the doco as it is, and add me for my modifications, thats fine.

Here is what I did. Since your hack differs greatly from Sub Zero's I've updated your version credited to you and I left Sub Zero's version intact as well. Now we have two different versions of a similar hack.
