Hello all-

I have just installed another UBB for a friend (my 4th time doing so) and the install went just fine BUT there are a few freaky things going on:

1. There are NO images anywhere. I have uploaded them 3x (in binary) to the /ubb folder and still nada. All of the links point to the .../ubb folder.

2. When you enter the main page of the BB (ultimatebb.cgi) you get a series of runtime errors (like 3 of them). I have NEVER seen that before.

3. The server has Perl 5.x yet I cannot run the accelerator/hello.pl scripts!

I'm a little baffled....

If you already pressed the upgrade button + config your paths correctly, I wouldn't know the next step.

I'm sure Charles will know.

1. You need to re-check your paths. You can manually edit vars_config.cgi if you need to.

2. Make sure you've uploaded all files from the ubb zip, including the modules (some are new), and double-check the permissions.

3. the accelerator relies on php being installed, not perl.
