When editing a style, if there is a graphic file that is not in use, It's entry in the style .cgi file can be deleted.
But when the style edited in control panel, control panel continues to display the deleted entry and also when it saves the style, re-enters the entry into the style file.
How can this removal be made permanent and also control panel be made not to display the removed graphic file's filename entry.

Don't try to meddle in the magic of the styles cpanel... it's OK for the entry to exist unused - nothing gets harmed internally.
UBB.classic: Love it or hate it, it was mine.

The magic ?, explain.
Yes, but is it possible if done correctly.
Also if filenames of graphic file are missed out in the style setup in control panel, control panel will not accept the style, and re-displays for filling in. So you have to give it values.
