moving to 'new members' forum smile

Check the permissions on that file, most likely should be set for 755 smile

hmm... the only other solution is to re-check your steps to the modification. If any template files are involved, you might make sure permissions are at least 644 on those smile

It either means the CGI path was set incorrectly, or the chmodding was incorrect - Since the UBB functions correctly otherwise, use Allen's idea. smile

CTM, CGI path is set correctly as well as chmodding.

Allen, the only tamplet envolved is ubb_common.pl.. I've ckecked the steps..they are OK .. I've put perms 644 put the message still coming as I mentioned whenever sombody post a reply.

Any other ideas?

By any chance are you using the "iframe" to refresh your IM page? If yes, then you can try the Javascript code as a remedy in place of the iframe.

Prime time,

Yes, I'm using iframe .. I've tried javascript but it seems not compatible with 6.5 cause IMs keep showing all the time. My members didn't like it.
