I want to take my Custom Field 1 on my registration page and make it a drop-down choice instead of free form. Any ideas on how to do this?

Your best bet is to ask in Mod Ideas and Suggestions , hopefully someone will take the ball and run with it, most likely one of the more active developers... Shouldn't be too hard to achieve
