I have been editing UBB 6.3.1.2 Classic and made some modifications. I have never moved up versions due to the so many intricate modifications that have been made etc.
What I have now discovered is that if I try to add someone to either my Friend List or to a Ignore List I get the confirmation message that the user has been added, but then when I check the lists the user is not on them.
Maybe I accidently messed up the related source code etc...
I have the original unmodified source code also.
I was thinking If I pasted the unmodified source code for the relevent Ignore List & Friend Lists over the parts in the cutomised UBB then most proably that would fix anything that has been modified and solve the problem.
Can someone tell me which files/functions etc.. do i need to restore to the customised version to fix things. (the minimum of files/functions to fix things).

Check the permissions on the Members/pm_lists directories and the files within - chances are that there's an error in there somewhere that's blowing up without an error...
UBB.classic: Love it or hate it, it was mine.

That cannot be a problem as the problem was experienced on a Windows 2000 machine as Administrator user etc... I.e. no access problems.. ?

It's possible permissions might get hosed on an individual folder... checking them first will eliminate that or not

got a link to what's going on? It's always easier to diagnose when we can see it in action.
