There was a bug in UBB classic where when REGISTERING a account and choosing a AVATAR, there would be one less avatar displayed to choose from that there was on disk. This problem was not there when MODIFYing a avatar or selecting one AFTER registration.
I belive it was Fixed in UBB Classic 6.5.
But I started customising my UBB 6.3.1.2. .... So I want to patch the bug up in my version.
Can anyone help me fix my 6.3.1.2 code using the 6.5 code ?.. What functions do I transfer etc.. in which files etc... ?.... I have 6.5 also.

that would be a violation of infopop copyright, sorry... you can use Beyond Compare to do it yourself tho

Info of Copyright ?. How ? Im not askign for someone to post code etc.. just tell me what I have to do, I.E. I already have the code.
Tell me about Beyond Compare etc ?. And how It will give me what I want.

try to overwrite your ot_avatars_lib.js (from the /noncgi/Avatars directory) with the 6.5 one..

thanks for the assistance LK www.scootersoftware.com - beyond compare will compare 2 sets of files and show the differences between the 2. You can also easily copy the differences from one set to the other...

Comparing etc...
But there maybe non Avatar differences between the 2 files.. So should I just try to spot the Avatar related diffrences....

About the .js file. Is this a guess or are you sure the bug is in the .js and not in the PERL code ?..
