When in the CP, it says "Your UBB has been up since xxx"(the date). How do I change that to an earlier date from when I had the original messageboard up?

Thanks.

it's most likely in vars_config.cgi, look for the one that seems to correspond to what you want, CC was nice and named the settings what they are

Thanks for the help, but its not in there. I've looked in a few of the vars files, to no avail.

It seems that the CP is calling upon a certain place to get it's date info. I need to know where that certain place is, so I can change the date smile

haha, I think I've figured it out, but it's not worth it. Viewing the code from like 37 files, it's in the cookies number. (CC, that's so cheap tipsy )

There's no way to change it without making all the cookies for your boards invalid, and you would still have to figure out the &DateFormat and &jdate subs.

It should be vars_config.cgi. However the date given is in the julian date format which is basically a string of numbers. Go here , enter the date you want and get the julian date. Then in vars_config.cgi replace

Code
q~Cookie_Number~ => q~___old date____~,
the number where "___old date____" is, with the number from that web-page. Note if you do modify the file all your users will have to log-in again (not a problem, just a side-affect of changing the date, as it's also used to name UBB cookies) smile .
