I have found several enhancement hacks for Private Messages but I have not been able to find one that would allow PM notification on a home page. I thought I saw one for previous versions but I have not been able to find it. I seem to recall it displayed something like "Hello Ruben Rocha you have 2 private messages" I am using Ver 6.6 and plan to upgrade to 6.7 when out of beta.

6.6 has this functionally built in. You just need to enable it in the Control Panel.

I asked that same question a week or two ago, and no one replied. So I took it upon myself to figure it out. I DID ![[Linked Image]](http://personal.cmich.edu/~billi1jm/test/pm.gif)

Maybe my question was misunderstood. I see the welcome PM feature and I do infact see a notice that I have a message pending but only while in a forum summary page(Ultimatebb.cgi). I am looking for something I can insert in a home page(default.htm,index.asp). On this site the message would appear on the default page of www.ubbdev.com. If it is in the control panel I can't find it.

I see a gif image you posted but it does not tell me how you did it.
