hello there, just got two emails about a new user registration but the 'last 50 registration'-feature inside my cp does not show 'em, when clicking on the profile-link following thing appears on my screen: No member profile found for member number: 11457Backtrace: ultimatebb.cgi:758 -> sub main::get_profile Backtrace: ubb_profile.cgi:427 -> sub main::OpenProfile Backtrace: ubb_lib_files.cgi:935 -> sub main::Tracer the accounts were called: Public Name: zxczxc Login Name: zxczxc Email: [email protected]Member Number: 00011456 Child: no and Public Name: zxczyc Login Name: zxczyc Email: [email protected]Member Number: 00011457 Child: no i'm pretty confused :-/ peace! chris www.technoforum.de

Hey chris, you might first try rebuilding member data and see if that fixes it

if that doesn't fix it, I'd open a support ticket at infopop... it might have been a hack attempt

i just registered an testaccount, worked fine, but again someone else registered using the username 'prollsoll' (this is not a real word in german but has a meaning like 'idiot') and again the error appears when clicking on the link to the profile the message-notification contained. it really seems like that someone tries to crash / 'hack' my bbs? because the account does not appear on the 'last 50 registration'-panel i'm even not able to check the ip-adress :-( any ideas, hints, explanations concerning that error..? maybe i'll reindex the member-files but right now i'd like to wait for some replies from you first :-(

2gizzy, no, i didn't.
registering works fine, i tested it again, but i guess that using some special characters (| ?) or phrases you can f*ck up the registration-procedure, because i figured out that from all above mentioned accounts NO userfiles do exist: 3 files are missing inside the Members-directory. that' really strange... :-(
