UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 7 Development How Do I? Easy Way to Post in All Forums?

Running 6.1.0.2, soon will be running 6.7. Currently, if I want to post a thread in multiple forums, I post in one, then move that one over and over to the other forums.

Is there an easier way to do this?

I see that 6.3.1 provided the ability to move many topics from one or more forums into another forum, but I haven't seen anything on moving one topic into many forums.

Any ideas/suggestions?

There is no mechanism to do this in any version, so you would indeed be looking at a hack...

CTM is working on the hack for 6.7 I believe

In a round about way, you could make a page with the new post. Simple html, just the layout etc. Then pull it into the announcement portion of each forum, via an Iframe , or if you are so inclined, with a .js setup.

Or even simpler, you could make a headline, and partial text, and then link back to the full post. A sort of blah blah blah [read more] scenario.

Yep, I should be releasing something like this in the next few days, if my schedule keeps itself in order.
