I understand that my problem is a regular UBB support issue and I have filled out a support ticket, but since I don't have a Gold license, I was hoping that maybe someone here might be able to help me out because I'm at my wits end.

I upgraded from 6.5.0 to 6.7.1 today and when I go to click on the forums I get.

Hack attempt logged or corrupt/altered member file found with extra fields. ('00002203')

I click on another forum and get

Hack attempt logged or corrupt/altered member file found with extra fields. ('00001950')

I suspect it has to do with the profile fields are out of sync from previous hacks, but I don't know how to fix this on my own.

If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.

If you had any hacks that added additional member profile fields, you need to run the Strip utility to remove the extra profile fields.

I would recommended asking for that Utility via the support ticket. I'm guessing they have an updated version for 6.7. The version on UBBCentral looks old.

A bunch of us have just added 6.7 support to that script, however, I'm not sure if I could release it as it's their code, just with another option to the dropdown

I guess I'm going to try and restore from my backup, somehow I have a bad feeling about that backup for some reason.

Isn't there a spot where you can just change the number of lines that it checks for for a hack attempt? Couldn't this be changed to the correct number for a temp fix at least?

Well, thank you everyone.

The backup did fail, as I suspected...but, Mirek helped me and we backed up the Members files and tried the old Strip Utility program, and it worked fine until it hung up on a very strange missing member file...anyway, I created a bogus replacement file and ran it again and it seems to have worked.

Again, thank you for those that tried to help me.

All I need is the util, modded for 6.7.1 (having upgraded from 6.7 Beta).
