Can anyone help me figure out this server error?

I'm lost. Since I no longer administer teh server, I'm having huge problems fixing the huge problems. ;-)

Thanks!

Make sure you have CHMODDED scripts correctly and that they were uploaded in ASCII

The files were uploaded in Ascii and all files are set to 755.

Confused!

Check your PMs wink

Also, I know that all the paths are wrong, the files just got uplaoded. However, I should be able to execute the CGIs and get an error about the paths. At this point I can't even do that.

ok, here's the deal.

I had a feeling the reason you were having troubles was due to you moving from Windows to Linux. I was right. I updated the first line of ultimatebb.cgi and cp.cgi so that they now run.

Then I find problem number 2.

You didn't upload your noncgi folder.

Upload it, along with a backup copy of vars_config.cgi, go to cp.cgi and go through the upgrade script, it'll ask you for the new paths, etc. Fill those in, finish the upgrade process and you're done.

The non-cgi folder is uploaded. It is at another level in Httpdocs subdir, hidden wink

I would have never figured that out. I'm not sure how I can repay you for all of this endless tech support, but if you figure something out, let me know. Thanks!

I'm sorry dude, I'm having problems still... frown

I get this..

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Error message:
Premature end of script headers: ubb_upgrade.cgi
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster

So, are all of the files "OS" specific? I can't run CP or UltimateBB either. I get similar errors.

Ok, so I lied. CP.cgi runs, but I'm unsure of how to show the absolute path for vars_config.cgi when it reside in the same DIR as cp.cgi, and I don't know the drive path.

Ok, so I figured the path out, but now I'm at the Non-CGI path, and it's looking for datelib.js and I don't have that file. I can't ever recall seeing it. It isn't backed up, and isn't in the folder (non-cgi) so now what?

Ok, so I found that I am missing a fair amount of the non-cgi dir, but even in my backup, I still don't see datelib.js...

Ok, so I found a file corruption @ line 860 so I pasted a copy of my backup over to fix it the lazy way. The file is good now, but I don't know what you changed to work for UNIX, and I forgot and over wrote your changes frown
