First off, is your upload hack compatible with 6.1?
Since I am not sure, I have NOT installed it. Therefore, some of the following may be in the category of "Been there, done that"... Sorry...
I need an upload Mod. The reason: I have a discussion board that is set up for people to discuss various arcane aspects of construction of Combat Robots (Battlebots). To facilitate this, we NEED to post pictures of axles, motors, brush rigging, schematics, etc... etc...etc...
Therefore, I need an upload mod that has the following "features" (Again, sorry if ya covered this ely)
1. Allow a user to "attach" 1 or more "files" to a post/reply
2. When the thread is viewed, the file does NOT display... an icon, representing a LINK to the file is included (cut down on display time)
3. Allow the user to post multiple files at the same time
4. Limit the total KB/MB allowed for the user (Based on rank...)
5. in this limit, have a setting for NONE and Unlimited
6. All files dump into a directory specified in the CP
7. Delphi has a nice feature... but it may be hard to implement: the TOTAL size of all files uploaded by each user is kept. If a user passes a certain limit, they can post no more files until they've deleted one or more of the old ones...
8. As an extension of #7... the ability to "delete" a file without deleting the post (replace the link icon with a "File Removed" icon)
9. (IMPORTANT) Allow a restriction on the types of file allowed (NO .exe files for example)
Is there a chance in he11 that you'd be interested in such a project?
