The way the Today's Topics are listed in 6.1 is far less useful than it was in v5. As a mod of multiple forums, I used to be able to go to Todays Topics and blow thru all my forums on a few pages quickly to see if anything was of interest. Now things are hopelessly jumbled together.
I'd love to see you be able to sort today's topics in the following order:
1) forum (as appears on the site) 2) last post 3) poster
Or, better yet, be able to click on the header for each column and have the user decide how they want things sorted.
Also, the inclusion of as much text as is in there now to preview the post discourages click thrus on topics which drives page views down. In turn that can effect revenue. I'd like to see the amount of word or characters limited a little more than it is now. As it is, I have stipped out the line that puts the preview in all together and am just using the titles (as it was in UBB 5).
