How about listing your favorite things you've hacked that are very tiny but make a big difference either with look and feel or functionality?

Here's one of mine:

If someone doesn't have a homepage, then no icon is displayed over their posts. Fine.

But for some icons, a space is put there instead. This makes it look bad when one icon is missing. It looks much worse when they also have PM off, etc.

The $email_link is equal to '& nbsp;' when not displayed as are a few others.

All the code for these icons needs to be fixed to look like this.

In ubb_lib_posting.cgi:

That way, the icons are properly spaced however many are displayed.

Hope to see this in 6.1.0.4.

Here's another:

I don't like the way the message icons are spaced between the radio buttons when posting a message. I think it looks much nicer when the icon is a little closer to the radio button that belongs to it, instead of almost directly in the center between two radios.

Just go to ubb_lib_postings.cgi and find:

Then just remove one or both of the & nbsp; after $check_this>.
