no need to get touchy sub.
i was just trying to find out if anybody else was interested in starting up .. after 3 pages of promises and excitment it appears the other developers are no longer persuing it.
if a ''duplicate thread'' is what it takes to get some interest and some motivation to the hackers of the board then i am certainly not against it - are you?
by all means continue on the other thread.

The Karma hack in "their" words.
What is Karma? If you post good quality and thoughtful messages, your fellow members will approve of your posts. By their approval you gain Karma. If you post incorrect, misleading or messages against the guidelines, they will disapprove and you will lose Karma.
Your karmic rating will be displayed underneath all of your posts. Only you will know your exact number of karmic points-- you can view this by clicking on the Karma icon on the right hand side of your own post. For every 100 points positive or negative, you will gain another karmic rating light. After 5 lights, they will take twice as long to earn.
Features: Members can approve or disapprove of a post by clicking on the Karma icon You can give 20 Karma ratings every 24 hours You can only give one Karma rating per post Users with more karma and a longer time registered will give more karma points with each click than a new member with no karma. An old well respected user might give 7 points per click while a new user will only give 1. You can see if your post has positive or negative karma by clicking on the icon. The longer you've been a member and the more posts you have, the more karmic points you award. For example, when a longtime member with 5000 posts awards karma to someone, it will be worth a lot of points). 10
