anybody interested in doing or using a hack that converts the time to swatch internet time.
giving international boards a time system that works through time zones.

thats pretty easy to do, just get some code in the swatch home page and modify your public_common.pl template http://www.swatch.com/itime_tools/special_version/download_form_beat.php? im going out on a trip today, if no one do this by the time i come back ill try (i had a .beat watch once, but someone stole it; kinda big in my wrist)

it's probably a big failure because people go around saying Swatch Internet Time is a big failureif more people used it (maybe even along with their time zone) then it wouldnt be such a failure i love it when people wink after being utterly unhelpful [ 12-21-2001 01:57 PM: Message edited by: Random ]

No, it's a big failure because I'll have to use a calculator (or buy a Swatch watch, but I'll never do that (it's 09:43:40pm CST, I think)

actually, i personally dislike it because its not precise, and its hard to calculate as lk said.
however, no one managed to outbest it (is that a word), not that i know of

so swatch internet time is a big success if only in calculator sales. i thought this forum was for idea suggestions for everybody .. not just for LK
