I was looking for a good way to do the following:
I want the registered users to be able to post as usual, but guest should be able to enter the board and have access to just ONE forum. The guest should be able to read and post in this ONE forum, but shouldn't be able to read ANYTHING else but this one forum.
Now, the only way to do this is to make ALL the forums "Private" and then give every member Private Access to each and every forum.
This gives the members access to everything, and the guests only access to the ONE forum that the admins specify.
Now, this is VERY much work and I just wanted to say that it would be a GREAT idea to make a hack that kan handle that better.
For example, a hack that could specify which forums that could be accessed by guest, and which could not.
I hope you get what I mean...
