This is a very requested feature on my boards. I have seen it done on Burning Board and vB. What it does and make a pop up window for the user when he/she recieves a private message. My members use the PM feature a lot, and the Pm Inbox on front page just doesn't help them enough. It seems like an easy thing to do. Please consider making it. Thanks.

If you want the pm to be shown in each page under the login welcome.I have done this by using jordo hack. It will only be shown if you have a unread PM. You can see the modification in this http://66.113.218.51/ww.zip the problem of using a pup up is if you do not want to read the PM it will be a pain in the …. It comes to you whenever you change the page

Yes, I know. I have Jordo's hack installed, I want a pop up though. Jordo's hack uses cookies so you have to log out and log back in to get a real reading.

If you change the Cookie_Number in vars_config.cgi you will force every user to relogin again I think

I have change the code to open your profile in a new window if you have a new PM. It will open it one time only if you close the window and open it again with out chicking your PM (open it) it will pup up a new window with your profile. http://66.113.218.51/ww.zip
