I need a little SSI to give me the number of people in the chat room so I can put the info on my home page. I'm using LK's Chat Mod 1.0. Is this possible without a crapload of work? My Perl skills are almost non-existant so if someone could help me out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good idea, try to put the following in "chat_ssi.cgi":
[code][/code]Change "10" to your refresh time, and /home/dir/to/Members to your Members path. Then use: There are currently users in the chatroom........

Untested, but.. hmm.. should work tipsy

Thanks LK! Seems to work. You're the greatest. This snippet of code should help those working on portals too. smile I borrowed a little code from the chat mod to handle the no user/single user/multiple user text:
