I am running 6.3.0.1 and i see references to this file vars_wordlets_mods.cgi in many hacks but i can't seem to find it??
can someone help me?

i went to that site and installed the wordlet 1.6 for v6.3...here are the files it created..the install script said everything went ok...
vars_versions.cgi
vars_wordlets.cgi
vars_wordlets_cp.cgi
vars_wordlets_date.cgi
vars_wordlets_email.cgi
vars_wordlets_err.cgi
vars_wordlets_img.cgi
vars_wordlets_pntf.cgi
vars_wordlets_poll.cgi
i cant seem to find the vars_wordlets_mod.cgi...what am i doing wrong? did i mess anything up??

You need to upload the file yourself.

The instrctions from the install said that it would create it... quote:
# Then goto your Control Pane. Under the Maintenance Menu, hit "Upgrade Your UBB". Then press the
# "Upgrade Your UBB" button. This will create vars_wordlets_mods.cgi with the proper permissions.
but where can i get it to upload it? wasnt in the 1.6 wordlet zip..

It didnt create it for me for some reason..the files i noted in my previous post were the only ones created.
any suggestions? i only installed the wordlet 1.6 to get that file! what did i do to the board by installing the wordlet 1.6?

So create a new file called vars_wordlets_mods.cgi:[code][/code]

im sorry i have zero knowledge about this..just know how to copy and paste.  so do i just paste the code into a a text file and save it as vars_wordlets_mods.cgi? that is all the code for this file? so do i then hack this file as per instructions in the other hacks? and then upload to the ubbcgi dir? what permission would i set on this? 777? thanks alot! frank
