Is there an easy way to enable this? I have a closed board, and lots of ppl are upset because of the severe limitations of UBBCode. Eric

No you can't. Due to security no html is enabled in sigs at all by default.

Simple things, like Center, or Tables would be nice. Is there a UBB addon for this type of thing?

brett, you're wrong, it's very easy to exploit the HTML feature through UBB - it's almost impossible to block EVERYTHING from IE. Smokester, try 6.0/6.1/6.2 forum, I think wwb made one for 6.2 and it might work for 6.3 as well

In your opinion though, it sounds like HTML is a really bad idea for sigs... Perhaps I'll forget about it for now. Eric

Is it possible to further explain why HTML is so much more dangerous in sigs than on the rest of the board?
It seems like Infopop would allow the owners of the boards the power to disable or enable HTML in sigs. With enough warnings as to why it should not be enabled, why not allow the UBB owner (ahem licensee) the ability to chance that themselves?
In an earlier version (around 5 I think) I had installed a mod that allowed HTML in sigs - never had any problems but the people who join my board are not trouble makers.
Actually to enable HTML on a per user basis with the default as disabled for new users would really be ideal. That way new users - who intend to attack and disrupt are prevented - while known users are enabled.
As stated earlier, the main reason is for image attributes (so sig text can appear beside the image), centering, font coloring and size.
Why not allow the owners to make that decision?

Hahaha, I love the last line of the hack... quote:
BE careful !!!!
watch out for any users who try to upload a virus in his signature to your computer.
Sorry, I'm not sure why it didn't work but you might be better off with the advanced UBB code instead. Charles Capps looked at it and gave it a positive nod and once it's installed it works in the sigs. I installed the version for 6.2.x and left out what I didn't need.
