Ok, I have two board licenses and at this point with a goal I would like to obtain about 50 more licenses. Not sure if I can get a deal if I buy them in bulk.

Now what would drive me to do this is simple in words but not sure how to technically make this possilble.

I want to know of there is a way to make a global profile that would roam through several boards I setup. They would be on different server simply because one alone could not handle that many boards. Now I know I could just make catagories and sub them out to make it appear to be multiple boards with one, but this is not enough.

A global Profile would be similar to how Ezboards or gamers.com boards operate so that one can have there settings, avatar roam around on all the boards but the board admin could ban them off one but not effect the others. Possibly expanding on this would be a profile that grabs the rank or custom title set off the individual board they are viewing thru jimbos hack somehow or something similar. Also private forum access could be set on one board without effecting the others.

Is this possible?

From what I know, This can be done If all the boards are on the same server.

The only thing will be that the last member welcome and total user will be off when updated from an other board (they will update again when the summary is updated)

Ive played with the idea on my own PC running two test boards and it works with some minor complications which would need to be recoded.

However running multiple boards on the same server, I'm not sure it could handle it. My guess is you get to many and you would crash it. So to run multipe boards of 50 you would need multiple servers. Im not exactly sure how ezboards.com and gamers.com run all those boards under the same domain. My guess is they have great networking guys in the background able to map that out or there boards are coded different.

Im not a network expert so Im not sure how that would work.

I see only one way to do this. don't store the profiles as file, use a zentralisized database for them...

What is a zentralisized database? Do you mean Centralized? And if so, how can a board check a different server for the profile?

You will need to run a backend database and not flat files in order to scale across multipe servers. Also with a database backend you would be extremely surprised on how low your servers utilization across the board will fall.
