For those of you who have been unable to transmit your results or check you stats today, there is a good reason...

The UD Servers are currently unavailable as they are doing some upgrading. There were some cosmetic and layout changes to some of the UD Web Site pages yesterday, and today they are upgrading a new version of the agent client and the database it talks to.

You can read more about the changes here . No user definined save yet, but they did change the processor rank benchmark. See the UD Forum for more info.

And for those of you who are stuck waiting to transmit and dl a new work unit...UD Monitor will allow you to cache multiple jobs, which can then be processed without having to talk to the UD server after every one. See this post for more details.

You see that one guy who had 900+ pc's running UD?

Yeah...there are a lot of heavy-weights out there. Ever check the overall individual stats...insanity. Granted, some of them are a bit dubious. In any case, I find it challenging enough to make sure 2 machines are running around the clock.

Looks like the uptime keeps getting pushed back...first it was 19:00 UTC, then 21:00 UTC and now 23:00 UTC.

UTC is Universal Time Coordinated, it is now approximately 20:54 UTC (15:54 UBBDev Time), so the system will likely be unavailable for at least another 2 hours.
