There are 2 other projects on the intel site ( http://www.intel.com/cure/), switch to one of those...

...eek!
I'd say switch to Seti@Home, because I used it before, it has a nice GUI, and you can minimize it to the system tray (Genome@Home runs in a DOS window last time I checked). Folding@Home wouldn't be that bad either...

Well, IMO, SETI isn't exactly as worth a cause as the others :|.

I run both pretty seemlessly, and even though seti is a geeky idea, it's a fun idea, to know if there is life or not is a good thing to know eh?

I agree! SETI is fun and it would be something when team ubb dev finds a couple of large head aliens to assist in the development of the ubb software.

SETI is a waste of time in my opinion. I mean, c'mon...

As far as I am concerned/know, Team UBBDev will continue to run under good causes either with Folding, Genome or some other project. Deb can give more information but this is my understanding.

I honestly don't have an answer and neither does UD but I feel they will continue to pursue positive goals. quote: Originally posted by UD - Public Relations:
Good question. Correct, we will not abandon current projects before their planned completion.
As far as the Cancer Project continuing beyond April, I wish I could give you a more complete answer right now. The original plan was to run the project for one year, and we are still on track to do that. If we are able to extend the project, we will certianly make every effort to do so.
Everyone stay tuned...
