My Nana has developed breast cancer..
She has had an operation to remove the lump, but the hospital say that the breast will have to be removed.. frown

I feel like I'm helping in a small way by taking part in this project.. smile

I'm sorry to hear that one of my best friends had cervix cancer right before she got married and she is only 19.

Eugh, good Lord, that's terrible frown

My great aunt had breast cancer once, she had to have the same done to her.. She took it good-naturedly though, and she even jokes about it now.. It's always good to know that some people can be cheerful even through the worst of times.. smile

Anyway, I hope your nan's OK after the operation smile

I'm sorry to hear about your Nana too... I hope she has a complete and quick recovery.

CTM, thanks for sharing a positive story... I'm glad your great aunt is ok.

The UD project is a way to help... and every little bit counts. smile

Even if the server is down for the whole of today.. wink

My Nana recently had a heart attack, so this is another drawback for her..
But she's strong, she has a lot to live for and we're just happy she's still with us.. smile

Please accept my deepest sympathy Troy. Your fondest memories of her are precious. They will carry on through you and those that knew and loved her.
